Jeff was born on August 10th, 1966 at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll, Iowa to Jack and Sherry (Lux) Webber. Alongside his brother, Jon (Christie), and sister, Jacqui (Dan), Jeff was raised up in a fun-loving family.
In his younger years, Jeff loved to wrestle, ride his motorcycle, play pool, and cruise the drag. His prized possession was his white Monte SS, which little did he know, would have to be sold later on for diapers (as he reminded his kids often).
Jeff met Cindy (Hoffman) in high school, and their love was sealed in marriage at the Holy Angels Catholic Church in Roselle, Iowa. Jeff and Cindy were blessed with three children, Ashley Webber (fiancé Brandon Gehling), Derek Webber (significant other Hannah Haberl), and Colton Webber.
Jeff was employed various places throughout his life, and had pride along with a sense of accomplishment, making an effort to work until his final days. Most recently Jeff was employed at Core-Mark in Carroll, and took pleasure in working as a team.
Jeff enjoyed many hobbies, including golfing, hunting, fishing, woodworking, boating, and coaching.
When his kids were younger, Jeff volunteered in many sports, soccer, football, and baseball when the team needed someone to step up.
Jeff loved to visit the Carroll Muni, where he would often meet friends and family for a game of golf with his favorite drink in hand, a Grey Goose and lemonade.
His best days were spent at Lake Mozingo, a beautiful lake located in Maryville, MO. Jeff looked forward to these days in the summer, spent with family and friends in the sun and around the fire. Jeff could be found on the fishing dock or cruising on a boat.
No matter what lake he was at, Jeff enjoyed pulling the kids around on tubes, listening to the screams and giggles in the back of the boat that he had poured his hard work into.
For birthdays, Jeff thought it was a sin to go anywhere else but Godfathers. That soon became a tradition for many of the birthdays in the family. Jeff knew how to bring people together, no matter the occasion.
Many knew Jeff as the life of the party, known for his loud, boisterous voice and infectious smile. His jokes and ability to talk to anyone made everyone feel welcome and a part of the family.
Also known as “King Jeff’ and “Favorite Uncle” to many, Jeff was a kid at heart and connected with the kids of the family with his jokes and fun spirit. “Little Billy” was the imaginary child featured in many of his exaggerated stories, which the kids loved to hear.
Jeff was an exceptional dancer, always the first on the dance floor at an occasion, his favorite dancing song being, “Fireball” by Pitbull. He knew how to light up the room and wanted everyone to have fun.
An avid Iowa Hawkeye fan, Jeff took opportunities to gather family and friends at the games, enjoying McWebbers, tailgating, and a little bit of rivalry. Shouting the letter of the section, “I O W A” was mandatory when attending a game. Jeff enjoyed the new tradition of the “Iowa Wave” and singing “Sweet Caroline” at the top of his lungs.
In his final days, Jeff did not let his cancer diagnosis darken his spirit. Jeff fought a long, hard battle while keeping a strong and sturdy presence that will forever be missed.
Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Jack Webber, his niece, Morgan Hagen, and many other family members.
