The Calhoun County Board of Supervisors have appointed Jena Patzner to serve as county auditor for the remainder of the current term. The vacancy was created with the retirement of former long-standing Auditor Robin Batz, with over 31 years of service. Patzner was hired in April of 2024, stepping into the role of financial assistant for the auditor’s office. She was appointed to county auditor during a special meeting on Jan. 2, to hold office until November 2026 where she will then need to run and be elected in by Calhoun County residents.
