Sheriff’s Quarterly Report, Opioid Settlement Fund Awards, And Union Agreement On Carroll County Supervisors’ Agenda For Monday

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors will meet at 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 12, at the Carroll County Courthouse for their next regularly scheduled meeting. According to the agenda, the supervisors will continue work on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 budget, and there will also be a return to more routine business following the start of a new year. The board opens with consideration of approval of an updated agreement with the Carroll County Paramedics Association, followed by a quarterly report from Carroll County Sheriff Ken Pingrey. The supervisors will also consider recommendations from the Opioid Funding Committee for the second round of awards from the county’s allocation of settlement money to prevent and treat opioid addiction. Other items on Monday’s agenda include board department assignments, the 2026 County Investment Policy, a resolution naming depositories, and a public hearing date for an FY26 budget amendment.
