With the recent warmer weather for being the winter season, many minds may be thinking of summer, including the organizers for the Stone Pier Summer Concert Series after releasing this year’s lineup today (Friday). Now in it’s 16 year, starting in June, the 2026 Stone Pier Summer Concert Series will feature eight various artist and bands to perform classic covers, to rock, country, Americana and more. On the first Saturday, June 6, Ryan North will kick off the series opening for one of Iowa’s fastest-growing cover bands, Not Quite Brothers. On July 4, Cousin Curtiss, a rock, blues and Americana duo will start the night off before Sons of Habit takes the stage. Aug. 1 will bring singer-songwriter Leon Majcen to the Pier Stage before Jason Scott and The High Heat perform their own original songs of various of genres. The final Stone Pier Summer Concert of 2026 will start with Little Hopes, an Atlanta-based duo singing their original American/country-rock songs, followed with the grand finale of Taylor Hunnicutt, for some southern country rock. All concerts will be performed on the Pier Stage at Black Hawk Lake in Lake View, free of charge with food options available for purchase.
