** Editors note: Ice fishing clinic has been rescheduled for Saturday, Jan. 24
Carroll County Conservation is starting off the new year with programs and activities featuring ice fishing, trivia and more. The first programs are tentatively scheduled for this upcoming Friday and Saturday, which Naturalist Vanessa Hinners says depends on the ice condition on the ponds.
All supplies will be provided for and registration is required. Interested individuals can register using the links included with this story on our website. The next event will be on Wednesday, Jan. 7 for a monthly educational program.
The next programs and activities will be the weekend of Jan. 17 and 18, featuring fun for the adults and a chance to work on a new skill.
Hinners says that weekend the Carroll County Conservation Center will be opened for anyone wanting to just come and visit.
Hinners encourages all to follow Carroll County Conservation on Facebook, as that is where you can receive the latest updates, which will include cancelations, changes or the scheduling of any upcoming events.
