‘Tis the season for budget preparations, and the Carroll County Board of Supervisors will continue with its work on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 budget at their meeting on Monday. The board convenes at 9 a.m. in the supervisors’ meeting room in the lower level at the Carroll County courthouse. The agenda begins with the FY27 initial budget review from County Treasurer Lisa Wagner. Next will be Carey Kersey with the Environmental Health Department’s preliminary budget, followed by Dalton Morrison on the IT Department’s FY27 projects. The only other items on the Dec. 29 agenda are a routine appropriations resolution to release the remaining 15 percent outlined in the FY26 budget to the respective county officers and department heads, manure management annual updates, and committee reports from the supervisors.
