The Early Public Library was a recipient of two grants to fund the replacement of the stair lift in the Early Municipal Building. The Gilbert and Barbra Renze Charitable Foundation and the Sac County Endowment Foundation grants were utilized to purchase and install a new stair lift, with a larger seat and an increased weight capacity. Anyone who needs assistance using the new lift is encouraged to call the librarian or city clerk. The Early Public Library is also planning to use portions of the funding to add additional parking spaces, specifically handicapped spots in its current parking lot.
