Glidden-Ralston Community School District (G-R) will be holding a town hall meeting next week, to provide more insight on a four-day instruction week that district administration is considering. Superintendent Tom Ridder says the discussion has been thrown around since September after other schools have transitioned and have been successful.
Ridder says the meeting will be next Wednesday starting at 6 p.m. in the Smith Gym. He says they will have guest speakers of administration from districts who have made the switch to the four-day instructional week.
Ridder encourages all to come out next Wednesday to address any concerns and to have any questions answered.
While still very preliminary, the district is exploring what a four-day week could potentially look like.
Again, Ridder encourages all to join administration during the town hall meeting next Wednesday, Dec. 17, starting at 6 p.m. in the Smith Gym. Anyone with questions or concerns is encouraged to reach out to Ridder or to any of the building principals, contact points have been included below.
