The Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation, in partnership with Iowa Select Farms, will be in Rockwell City on Monday, Dec. 8. handing out free pork loins for its Operation Christmas Meal. Employees from Iowa Select Farms will be volunteering from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Calhoun County Expo Center, giving free pork loins for families in need, or for someone to gift a meal to anyone struggling and could use help this holiday season. Now in its 15th year, Operation Christmas Meal will be providing 27,000 free pork loins at 16 locations where an Iowa Select Farm facility is located. The drive-through giveaway started Friday in Des Moines and will travel to various communities over the next two weeks.
