Funding requests from the area’s non-governmental organizations (NGOs) continue at Monday’s Carroll County Board of Supervisors meeting. The board convenes at 9 a.m. on Dec. 8 in the lower-level meeting room. The supervisors begin by hearing a funding request from the Centers Against Abuse and Sexual Assault (CAASA) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2027, followed by the Carroll County Growth Partnership (CCGP). Decisions on NGO funding requests won’t be made until at least after the first of the year. Other items on the agenda include routine payable, plats, and liquor licenses, an FY25 cost allocation report, and discussions on the future of the county’s human resources with the upcoming retirement of its contracted service provider. The supervisors will close the meeting by reviewing the board’s appointments that are expiring in 2025 and committee reports.
