Three Nurses From Stewart Memorial Recognized As 2025 DAISY Award Nominees

Stewart Memorial Hospital and Clinics is proud to recognize three nurses for being nominated for the DAISY award. Dawn Parkins, Renee Bronzynksi and Kelly Lee were all nominated for the recognition, for their extraordinary compassion, comfort and support during patients’ challenging medical experiences. Parkins nomination letter said she showed kindness and emotional support to a patient and their family, whose compassion made a difficult day feel a little lighter. Bronzynksi and Lee were nominated together for their attentiveness, gentleness, and emotional support during an overwhelming and frightening time with a patient battling pneumonia and was needing to be transferred to another hospital, describing the impact the two made on the experience a profound difference. Stewart Memorial administration say they are honored to have these three nurses as part of their team, continuing to supporting the hospital’s mission of providing quality health and wellness for patients and their families.
