The Carroll City Council approved the final reading and adopted an ordinance amendment last week to moderately increase fees and charges at the Carroll Municipal Golf Course. For the last six weeks, the council has been through the public vetting process for the proposed increase, which is around five percent for most categories. City officials did not receive any public feedback, for or against, during the required three readings. Under the new fee schedule, individual memberships are increasing to $590 from $560, family memberships to $900 from $860, senior memberships to $530 from $505, and student memberships to $255 from $244. Daily green fees for nine-hole rounds are climbing to $25 from $20, and 18-hole rounds are going from $32 to $35. The council unanimously approved the third reading and adopted the ordinance amendment at the Nov. 24 meeting. The new fee structure will be in effect for the 2026 golf season.
