arroll County Supervisors Dive Into FY27 Budget Preparations With NGO Funding Requests At Monday’s Meeting

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors will dive into Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 budget preparations at their Monday, Dec. 1 meeting. The supervisors convene at 9 a.m. in the supervisors’ meeting room at the Carroll County Courthouse. The agenda includes FY27 funding requests from non-profit organizations, including the Family Crisis Center, the Elderbridge Agency on Aging, the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), and the Carroll County Historical Society. These are the first of generally dozens of non-governmental organizations (NGO) that seek financial support from the county on an annual basis. Outside of those funding requests, the only other items on the agenda are plat approvals, a resolution setting a public hearing for a proposed FY26 budget amendment, manure management annual updates, and the supervisors’ committee reports. The Monday, Dec. 1, meeting is open to the public and will be live-streamed via the county’s YouTube channel. Links to the agenda and the video are included with this story on our website.
