The Manning Area Partners (MAP) is bringing a new event to Manning through the winter months, with the teenagers in mind. Executive Director Andrea Rohe says former MAP Board Member Kristin Dreyer, who unexpectedly passed away earlier this year, was the true inspiration to make Youth Night a reality.
Rohe says the board searched for a location, with the owners of Pour Decisions volunteering their space as it could accommodate the activities. For right now, there are three scheduled dates planned over the next few months.
Youth Night is geared towards kids ages ten and up, but kids under ten can attend but must be accompanied by an adult or older sibling. There will be board games, foosball, pool table, cards and more available to participate in. The event is free, but a small donation to help cover the cost for drinks and snacks is much appreciated. Rohe says there are other ways for individuals to support the event if interested.
A link to the Amazon list can be found included below. Rohe says that this event is not just for kids in Manning and is open to other surrounding communities as well.
Again, join MAP with Pour Decisions on Dec. 9, Jan. 13, and Feb. 10 for Youth Night, bringing fun specifically to the kids, in a safe environment.
