Manning Area Partners (MAP) is continuing the city’s annual tradition of Weihnactsfest this upcoming Friday, featuring a parade, a visit from Santa plus more. MAP Executive Director Andrea Rohe says Christmas season always kicks off each year on Black Friday in Manning with shopping and festivities planned all in the downtown district.
Santa will make his grand appearance at the end of the parade and Rohe says he will be available to visit with children afterwards.
Anyone wanting to partake in the parade will need to be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 5:45 p.m. After the parade, there will be live music, horse drawn carriage rides and more throughout the evening. Rohe says that there will be options to feed the family during the celebration .
Again, join the Manning community and MAP with the annual Weihnactsfest festival this upcoming Friday starting at 6 p.m.
