Railroad crossing repairs at two locations are scheduled for this week in Carroll County. According to the county road department, crews from BNSF were on-site this (Monday) morning on the east side of Templeton at Ivy Avenue and 300th Street. Motor vehicle traffic will need to use alternate routes until the work is completed, which is tentatively scheduled for 5 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. On Tuesday, Union Pacific will be closing the Timber Avenue and Colorado Street crossing in Glidden for similar repairs. This is expected to be a shorter project, and the closure is projected from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday).
