Iowa Fuel Report: Nov. 19, 2025

It was a mixed bag for fuel prices in this week’s report from the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS) and AAA-Iowa. As of Wednesday, Nov. 19, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in the state was $2.76, unchanged from the prior week and three cents above prices from a year ago. The national average on Wednesday rose by one cent to $3.09 per gallon. In retail diesel, Iowa prices fell by an average of seven cents to $3.69 per gallon, compared to $3.29 this time last year. Iowa diesel prices are nine cents lower than the $3.78 national average recorded on Wednesday. As for renewables at the Des Moines Terminal, E10 stood at $1.80, Unleaded 87 was $2.08, ULSD#2 was $2.72, ULSD#1 was $2.97, and E70 was $1.93. In heating fuels, propane prices dropped one cent to $1.52 per gallon, home heating oil rose six cents to $3.33 per gallon, and natural gas prices at the Henry Hub reporting site were up five cents to $4.55 per MMBtu.
