Gov. Kim Reynolds made several stops in the listening area last week, including visits to Carroll and Manning. Reynolds hosted a closed meeting on Friday at the Hoyt Mansion with local leaders to discuss property tax reform, developing partnerships between the county government and its cities, and St. Anthony Regional Hospital’s efforts to improve access to care for rural Iowans. Reynolds’ visit to Carroll on Friday was not open to the general public. Following the stop at the Hoyt Mansion, Gov. Reynolds then traveled to Puck Enterprises to tour the facility and to host another roundtable with Manning leaders, again discussing property tax reform.
