Stewart Memorial Hospital and Clinics in Lake City dedicated a new mural on Thursday honoring the legacy of two longtime physicians, Dr. Warren McCrary and Dr. Glenn Rost, whose decades of service helped shape the hospital and the community. Hospital leaders, board members, and the McCrary family gathered for the ceremony, which celebrated the doctors’ compassion, dedication, and lifelong commitment to patient care throughout the region. Stewart Memorial CEO Linn Block says, “They were more than physicians. They were healers, mentors, and neighbors who built trust and compassion into the very foundation of our hospital. Their influence continues to live within these walls, in the care we provide, and in the lives of the people they touched.” The mural, created by local artist Noel Blair, serves as a lasting tribute to the physicians’ skill and humanity.
