Former CCSD Transportation Director Jeff Cullen Elected To CCSD Board Of Education

Carroll County Emergency Management Coordinator Jeff Cullen was elected to one of the two open seats on the Carroll Community School District’s (CCSD) Board of Education during Tuesday’s city/school elections. Cullen, who previously served as the district’s transportation director, says he is thankful for the opportunity to help CCSD again.

Cullen was the front-runner, receiving 1,349 or 31.25 percent of all votes cast. He says he is ready to get to work addressing concerns district residents have about CCSD.

When Cullen and his wife decided to make a move over 30 years ago, he says they were drawn to Carroll because of the school district. He hopes all governmental entities will work in tandem to continue advancing the Carroll community.

Cullen says he is grateful for all the support that he has received for this new endeavor.

The other open CCSD Board of Education seat went to Hunter Harmening, who received 976 votes, or 22.61 percent. Carroll Broadcasting will have more on the 2025 city/school elections in upcoming newscasts.
