Three school districts in the Carroll Broadcasting listening area had contested races for the open seats to serve on their respective school board. Carroll Community School District (CCSD) had five individuals cast their names on the ballot for the two open seats, with Jeff Cullen receiving 1,349 or 31.25 percent of the votes and Hunter Harmening with 976 votes, or 22.61 percent being elected. East Sac County (ESC) had four candidates for the two at-large seats for school director, with Jim Wallace favored by 1,203 votes or 38.32 percent, followed by Kyle Leners with 830 votes or 26.44 percent. The last district with a contested race was IKM-Manning for the at-large director position, with three individuals running in that race. Jeremy Puck was the front-runner, receiving 1165 votes, or 36.18 percent, and Lucas Potthoff followed with 1,032 votes or 32.05 percent. IKM-Manning’s District 2B races was also contested, with Josh Linde beating Grant Stracke with 1,110 or 56.32 percent of the votes.
