Motorists on Delta Avenue near Manning will need to use a short detour beginning next week. Starting on Monday, Oct. 27, Delta Avenue, also known as County Road M68, between Iowa Highway 141 and 300th Street will be closed to thru-traffic for pavement patching. Specified local traffic will be permitted access to homes and field entrances, but all other vehicles will need to use the designated detour, which bypasses the construction area via 300th Street, N. West Street, and Highway 141. Crews are expected to be on-site through 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5, weather dependent.
