Pella Corporation’s Carroll facility is joining company locations nationwide in celebrating Manufacturing Month and the company’s 100th anniversary. Founded in 1925 in Pella, the window and door manufacturer has grown into a national brand with a reputation for collaboration and innovation. The Carroll plant, which opened in 1982, is one of the community’s largest employers. According to Carroll Plant Manager Danielle Leonard, Pella takes pride in its strong community involvement, citing recent contributions through the Pella Rolscreen Foundation of $10,000 to the Breda Little League lighting project and $1,500 to the Western Iowa EMS K9 Association. Pella’s Carroll operation also supports local educators through their “Staff Member of the Month” program with local schools, aids local organizations in food drives, helps provide gifts to local children around Christmas by partnering with the Carroll Rotary, and more.
