The Community Foundation of Carroll County has opened the application period for its latest grant cycle to be awarded in 2026. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations, local governments, churches, or similar charitable entities that are pursuing projects that directly benefit Carroll County residents. Recent examples of selected applicants include $9,000 to the Carroll County Conservation Board for paving Sauk Rail Trail road crossings, $21,000 to New Hope for facility improvements, and $15,000 to the Carroll Area Child Care Center for purchasing educational materials and toys. Applications must be submitted online by Sunday, Nov. 30. Awards will be announced in Q1 2026.
