The Carroll Public Library is hitting the road, inviting families in Breda to “Build a Moose” and learn more about what the library has to offer. Tomorrow (Thursday) starting at 5:30 p.m., staff from the Carroll Public Library will meet with Breda residents at the Breda Shelter House, entertaining kids by providing kits for them to build their own stuffed moose toy to keep, while the adults learn more about resources and programs offered through the library that individuals living in contracting cities can enroll and participate in. More information will be provided on programs such as Story Times, Read-Play-Grow, Summer Reading and other activities hosted by the library. This event is open to residents with a current Breda address and is made possible as part of a series provided by funding through Communities 4 Children, Community Partnerships for Protecting Children Neighborhood, Community Network Mini Grants and the Carroll Public Library. Registration is required and can be done using the link included below. The library staff will be hitting the road again next week on Tuesday, Oct. 28 in Templeton at the Templeton Center for families with a Templeton address to participate in the same activities.
