Manning Regional Healthcare Center (MRHC) will host a walk-in flu shot clinic from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at the hospital in Manning. The cost is $30, or the shot can be billed to insurance. It is not necessary to schedule an appointment ahead of time. Attendees are encouraged to facilitate the process in advance, however, by completing the vaccine consent form on the MRHC website. It can be found by selecting the “Patients” tab and clicking on “Clinical Forms.” MRHC Infection Prevention and Employee Health Nurse Jill Arp says, “Getting the flu vaccine is one of the best ways to protect yourself and others during flu season, so we encourage anyone six months and older to get their flu shot.” Individuals unable to attend the walk-in event can schedule an appointment by calling the MRHC Clinic at 712-655655-8100.
