Thursday at noon is the deadline to register to hear about what the guest that visited the City of Manning developed as their first impression of the community. On Tuesday, Oct. 15 starting at 5:30 p.m., attendees will hear what a few secret guests over this last summer really thought of Manning with the ISU Extension and Outreach’s First Impressions Program, joined by the Manning Hotel Motel Committee. Local businesses and residents are encouraged to participate to understand the positive things identified by the visitors, and some ways the city can improve on. The forum will take place at the Timmerman Shelter House from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a dinner provided to those who RSVP to City Administrator Dawn Meyer by noon on Thursday, Oct. 9.
