The Glidden and Ralston Fire Departments responded to a structure fire southeast of Carroll this Thursday afternoon. The call came in shortly before noon for smoke reported in the garage of a house in the 20000 block of Phoenix Ave. The fire originated in the attached garage, with all the damage contained there and did not spread into the living quarters. At this time, it is believed to be a battery being the cause of the fire. One person was home at the time to report and was able to get out without any injuries.
