The IKM-Manning Community School District earned “commendable” ratings for all three of its attendance centers in the 2025 Iowa School Performance Report. Looking at districtwide proficiency scores, IKM-Manning students significantly outpaced the state averages in math, science, and English language arts. Grade-level math proficiency for the Wolves was 82.66 percent, compared to the 70.93 percent average for Iowa students. Science proficiency measured 75.8 percent, eight percentage points higher than the average. English language arts proficiency reached 77.7 percent, about four points higher than Iowa’s average. IKM-Manning also performed well in graduation rates, both for four-year and five-year, at 95.92 percent and 98.04 percent, respectively. Very few students at IKM-Manning are considered chronically absent, with just 6.68 percent, which is well below Iowa’s average of 15.81 percent. With all three attendance centers earning a commendable rating from the Iowa Department of Education, IKM-Manning will not need additional support or observation from the state in the coming year.
