Carroll County Conservation is getting ready for the spooky Halloween season by hosting it’s fourth annual Haunted Bison Hollow this weekend at Swan Lake State Park. Several activities will be available for all ages to participate in throughout the Swan Lake Conservation Education Center, the campgrounds, and the South Shelter Areas. Environmental Education Coordinator Kristen Bieret says the conservation team was looking for a different activity to bring individuals out to Swan Lake.

Bieret says the event itself is free and everyone is welcome to come participate in the many activities planned from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

After the Haunted Bison Hollow, Bieret says there will be a trick-or-treat opportunity for kids in the campgrounds. She says they changed the time to go later than the scheduled activities after receiving feedback from past attendees.

Bieret wishes to thank all the sponsors, volunteers and community partners that have come together to help make this event possible and for continuing to support Carroll County Conservation.
