Stewart Memorial Hospital and Clinics has recognized Lexie Snyder and Keagan King as its latest quarterly Team Award winners, honoring their exceptional teamwork, professionalism, and patient-centered care. The award stems from a patient’s experience after developing a reaction to contrast dye following a CT scan. The patient praised the swift and compassionate response from Snyder and King, recalling how the pair stayed at her side and ensured she felt safe while they rendered aid. The patient writes, “Throughout it all, Keagan was incredibly patient and helpful. She found me a fan, offered me water, kept me calm, and stayed with me until I was feeling better. Both Lexie and Keagan were so caring and compassionate, making what was a very scary experience much more manageable.” The Stewart Memorial Team Award is presented quarterly to staff members who go above and beyond in supporting patients and colleagues through collaboration, compassion, and dedication.
