Two Vehicles Deemed Total Loss After Two-Vehicle Accident Involving Minor Passengers Wednesday Morning In Carroll

Two individuals were transported to hospital following a two-vehicle accident involving minor passengers Wednesday morning in Carroll. According to the accident report by the Carroll Police Department, at approximately 7:50 a.m., a 2022 Honda Odyssey driven by 36-year-old Nichole Schroeder of Glidden was stopped while traveling northbound on Griffith Road, attempting to make a left turn onto 10th Street. A 2010 Chevrolet Suburban, operated by 52-year-old Michelle Mohr of Carroll rear ended the Schroeder vehicle, causing airbag deployment and significant damage to both vehicles, deeming them a total loss. Mohr was extricated by mechanical means from the vehicle by the Carroll Fire Department due to damage received on driver side door. Mohr and her 13-year-old passenger were transported to St. Anthony Regional Hospital by ambulance for suspected injuries. Schroeder and a 4-year-old passenger were treated at the scene with minor injuries while her 6-month-old passenger remained uninjured. Mohr was cited for failing to maintain control.
