The Carroll Chamber of Commerce will host its final Live+Local concert of the 2025 season tomorrow (Thursday) evening. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Aged Spirits will take the stage in Depot Park on 5th Street with their long list of classic covers, including Tom Petty, ZZ Top, the Steve Miller Band, and Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR). Live+Local is a BYOB event; however, no glass containers or hard liquor are permitted. Organizers remind attendees to bring their lawn chairs or blankets for seating during the show. Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) is also joining in Thursday’s fun by letting kids build their own DMACC bear starting at 6 p.m. while supplies last. Chamber member food trucks will also be available for concertgoers to grab some tasty treats. This week’s show marks the end of Live+Local’s fifth season, and the free summer concert series in downtown Carroll has grown into one of the community’s most popular summertime activities.
