The Carroll County Road Department is closing a section of 300th Street north of Coon Rapids this (Wednesday) morning for bridge replacement work. The crossing over an unnamed creek between Walnut and Zephyr Avenues will be closed for approximately one week while crews tear out the aging infrastructure and replace it with a box culvert. Traffic should mostly be unaffected by the work, but vehicles may need to navigate around the project area via 290th, 310th, and Walnut Avenue. If the weather cooperates, the roadway is expected to reopen by Wednesday, September 24. Residents with questions can contact the Carroll County Road Department at 712-792-3603.
