The IowaWORKS office in Denison invites the public to an open house later this week. On Thursday, Sept. 18, staff will open the doors to their facility at 504 N. Highway 39 to tours of the IowaWORKS Center and to learn about the services and partnerships they offer in their service area. Offices like the one in Denison are located throughout the state and assist Iowans in navigating unemployment insurance, providing job training for job seekers, connecting veterans with job opportunities, and more. Thursday’s open house runs from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., and all are welcome to attend. The Denison IowaWORKS serves a large region in west central Iowa, including Crawford, Sac, Calhoun, Carroll, Shelby, Audubon, and several other counties.
