Glidden’s Park and Rec Department has a busy month in September with two scheduled events, the first one, Golf Around Glidden taking place next weekend. On Saturday Sept. 13, participants will be able to try their chance at various hole challenges created by local individuals and businesses. Cost to play will be $10 per golfer. The department is still looking for hole sponsors to make this event even more fun. Sponsors will oversee creating a putting challenge and supervising the area the day of the event.
