Manning Regional Healthcare Center’s (MRHC) Wound Care Clinic has received RestorixHealth’s Wound Center of Excellence Award, the organization’s highest honor. The award from the wound care solutions company recognizes clinics that meet or exceed national benchmarks for clinical outcomes, operations, patient satisfaction, and wound care quality. MRHC CEO Shannon Black says, “This award is proof of the outstanding care, patient experience, and dedication our wound care team delivers every day. Thank you to our wound care team for making this achievement possible. Your commitment to excellence continues to make a difference for our patients and community.” This is the second time MRHC’s Wound Care Clinic has been recognized by RestorixHealth, adding to several previous honors for patient satisfaction and healing benchmarks. The clinic focuses on preventing lower limb loss and improving outcomes for patients with non-healing wounds, using both traditional and advanced therapies to speed recovery. Since its inception in 2019, the Wound Care Clinic has successfully treated 121 patients, including those with long-term, complex wounds. The clinic is staffed by Courtney Rupiper, PA-C, and Kendra Tiefenthaler, RN, BSN, with support from Elaine Macumber, RN; Courtney Grabill, RN; and Amanda Blum, RN.
