The Carroll County Board of Supervisors will not host their regularly scheduled meeting next week. County officials note there are several reasons for the meeting’s cancellation; the first being that there are no time-sensitive agenda items for the supervisors to consider. Additionally, the board’s meetings, which are generally held on Mondays, coincide with the Labor Day holiday. Finally, there are scheduling conflicts for several of the supervisors that would prevent them from meeting later in the week. The supervisors are expected to return to their regular meeting schedule on Monday, Sept. 8.
