Iowa Trust and Savings Bank donates $10,000 to the Sac- Sauk Multi-Use Connector Campaign to support outdoor recreation and the connections between communities located on the trail in Sac County. The current proposed project would extend from the Iowa Great Lakes, through five counties, which includes Sac and Carroll County, to Swan Lake State Park. The new trail would connect the Sauk Rail Trail to the Iowa Great Lakes Spine Trail, running from Lake View into Spencer. The donation supports the collaborate effort from the Sac County Trails Committee and the City of Sac City to boost economic development across the county, enhance outdoor recreation opportunities and more. Iowa Trust and Savings Bank Sac City Branch Manager Jordan Lynch says “Iowa Trust is proud to be a leader in helping this project succeed. We are appreciative of the dedication shown by the Sac County Trails Committee and the City of Sac City in making this project a success.” The donation was approved by the bank’s Board of Directors and supported by management and staff who envision the long-term value and impact the trail project will have in Sac County.
