Ar-We-Va CSD Welcoming One New Certified Staff, Building And Ground Improvements And Free Activity Passes For This Upcoming School Year

The Ar-We-Va Community School District is coming into the 2025-26 school year fully staffed and some updates to school grounds. The Ar-We-Va District has seen some significant improvements were made to the buildings and grounds that Superintendent Nathan Hemiller says will be noticed by students and staff.

Hemiller says the district is encouraging all students to come out to home athletic games, especially now that season passes will be covered for all district students.

Ar-We-Va has a strong foundation established with staff coming into the school year. Hemiller says a majority of certified staff from last year will be returning to the district.

With the ever-changing technology, Hemiller says high school students can expect more policies set in their handbook regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence.

New teachers report back to the building on Aug. 18 with all staff welcomed back on Aug. 20. An open house is scheduled for Aug. 21 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. with “Meet the Rockets” right after at 6 p.m. in the High School Gym. Hemiller says he hopes all staff and students are enjoying the last big of summer vacation and is excited to welcome all students back that first day of the 2025-26 school year on Aug. 25.
