Merle Hay Post #386 in Glidden has recently installed a Flag Disposal Box for residents and surrounding community members to utilize for proper disposal of used flags. The box is located in front of the building at 106 N. Idaho Street, just south of Glidden City Hall and the Glidden Public Library. Flags only are to be placed in the box where a legion member will gather all flags collected to be retired appropriately. Flags in all conditions will be accepted for disposal.
