The City of Templeton has been awarded a Community Development Block Grant through the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) for maintenance of the sewer mains. The $267,000 grant will be used for a slip lining project of 10,000 lineal feet of the sewer mains to promote the longevity of the lines, reinforcing the pipe and assist in preventing deterioration. Region XII Council of Governments helped city officials prepare the application and congratulates the City of Templeton of the success of being selected for the grant.
