City Of Audubon Celebrating 75th Annual Operation T-Bone Days This Weekend

The 75th annual Operation T-Bone days is kicking off tomorrow (Friday) with a full weekend of celebrating the community’s history. The City of Audubon played a crucial role in transportation of cattle on the railroad that used to travel right though the area, and the yearly celebration continues to recognize and promote the beef industry. The activities get underway tomorrow (Friday) evening with the “Albert’s Old-Fashioned Picnic” featuring hamburgers, chips and more at 5:00 p.m. at Albert the Bull Park. The night continues with the T-Bone Special figure 8 races at 7:30 p.m. with fireworks at 10 p.m. Live musical entertainment will be at the beer garden located at Vics Main Tap with Aiden Flathers. Saturday is jammed pack full of activities for everyone, from the Audubon County Good Neighbor Service Council breakfast in the Memorial Building at 8:00 a.m., T-Bone Days “Show & Shine” car show and tractor exhibition starting at 9 a.m. Inflatables, kids games, vendor fair and more will be located at John James Audubon City Park throughout the day. The parade kicks off at 1 p.m. that Saturday afternoon with more live music from Jo Beane & Friends, and Legacy Church Praise Band with Brad Morgan wrapping up the night in the beer garden at 9 p.m. The Audubon Fire Department has breakfast covered Sunday morning with their breakfast fundraiser from 7 a.m. to noon. Again, everyone is welcome to enjoy the beautiful weather and celebrate the City of Audubon with the 75th annual T-Bone Days this weekend. The complete schedule can be found included below.
