Residents and travelers of Arcadia will need to look for an alternate route into town due to the railroad crossing being closed this Thursday. Starting on Thursday morning, the railroad crossing on S. Division Street, just north of U.S. Highway 30, will be closed for one day, weather and delays permitting, while crews repair the crossing. Anyone traveling into town and trying to leave will need to find an alternate route, as no traffic will be allowed through during the closure. Officials with the City of Arcadia thank everyone for their understanding and flexibility as the railroad crew ensures the crossing is working to keep travelers safe when passing over the tracks.
