Stewart Memorial Hospital and Clinics has named Holly Wuebker, RN, as the latest recipient of its Path to Excellence Employee Recognition Award, celebrating her exceptional dedication and service. Wuebker began her healthcare journey in 2001 at the age of 16, enrolling in Stewart Memorial’s CNA program. Though she initially planned to become a teacher, the opportunity led to a long and meaningful career in nursing. Now a registered nurse at Stewart Memorial Clinics, Wuebker has worked in numerous departments, including home care, hospice, and urology. The hospital’s value of “Stewart’ship” resonates most with Wuebker, saying, “This is a very small community, and the people we take care of are our neighbors, our friends, our family members. I think it’s important to take care of our people, take care of our organization, and just be good stewards.” Wuebker emphasizes the importance of offering quality care close to home and praises her colleagues for their teamwork and compassion, saying they are truly like a family. Hospital leadership commended her adaptability, compassion, and commitment to serving the Lake City community.
