The 2025 Audubon County Fair gets underway next week with five days of activities for the entire family. Audubon County Fair Board Treasurer, Taylor Hanson says the theme of the fair is year is a mix of western and celebrating the lasting impact individuals make on Audubon County.
The fairgrounds open on Tuesday, with the 4-H Static Exhibit judging, Clover Kids Pet Show, and the 4-H Dog show in the Livestock Pavilion. Wednesday will feature the livestock check ins, along with the exhibitor meeting and the sponsorship dinner in the Agrihall which anybody can attend for $10 a meal. Hanson says Thursday is when all the extra entertainment starts.
Registration for the Mini Motor Madness can be found on online. Thursday through Saturday, various activities including inflatables, magic shows and more will be available. Hanson says Friday night has Aiden Flathers to perform live music, and the Figure Eight races with a new racing event to get the crowd going.
Saturday has the baby contest at 9 a.m., the IRCA Rodeo at 7 p.m. and music from 2 ½ Guitars following the rodeo. The fair starts to wrap up on Sunday with the tractor drive, a horse fun show and a color foam party at 1 p.m. Admission and all activities, aside from the figure eight races are free to the public. Hanson says the county fair has been a staple event for the community for years and wishes to thank each and every individual who helps to make this possible.
