The Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Legends in Manufacturing Awards, which recognize outstanding individuals who have made a lasting impact on Iowa’s manufacturing industry. Through its Elevate Iowa initiative, ABI will honor up to four industry leaders whose innovation, leadership, and dedication have strengthened their companies, workforce, and the state’s economy. ABI President Nicole Crain says, “Now more than ever, it’s important to recognize the people who make Iowa manufacturing what it is today. The Legends in Manufacturing Awards honor individuals whose leadership, innovation, and commitment have shaped the success of their companies and the strength of our state’s economy.” Nominations are open to the public through Aug. 15, with no limit on the number of submissions per person. Winners will be recognized during a luncheon ceremony on Oct. 14 as part of the Iowa Manufacturing Conference. Previous honorees from the region include Hernan Etcheto of Nutriom in Panora (2024) and Heather Bruce of Osmundson Manufacturing in Perry (2023).
