Results from the Carroll County Fair’s static exhibits are beginning to roll in. So far, more than 350 ribbons have been awarded in the static divisions alone. Entries earning purple ribbons and a bid to the Iowa State Fair include Keatyn Sander from Manning Win or Grin for his entry in horticulture and plant science, Brynlee Bonney from Coon Rapids Shamrocks in agriculture and natural resources, and Brynlee Flathers from Richland Hot Shots, also in agriculture and natural resources. In photography, Trevor Booth, Andrew Greving, Olivia Greving, and Preston Lester, all from Manning Win or Grin, alongside Kailey Schwering from Richland Hotshots, earned purple ribbons. Madison Hedman and Grace Wolterman from the Manning Win or Grin 4-H club advanced in creative arts. Trevor Booth of Manning Win or Grin earned a purple ribbon in animal science, and Katelynn Gehling of Carroll Clovers advanced in the same field. Molly Mohr of Coon Rapids Shamrocks moved on in Family and Consumer Science, along with Maddy Mason of the Mighty Clovers, and Andy Booth from Manning Win or Grin. Earning purple ribbons in the personal development division were Katelynn Gehling of the Carroll Clovers, Kellan Hooper of the Carroll Champs, and Andy Booth from Manning Win or Grin. Finally, in the STEM-related entries, Andy Booth, Preston Lester, Keatyn Sander, and Grace Wolterman, all of Manning Win or Grin, Amelia Klocke of Halbur Community, Noah Davis and Max Halbur of Richland Hotshots, Tyrion Hooper and Case Kock of Carroll Champs, and Pacey Bogue of Carroll Clovers all took home purple ribbons.
