Endow Glidden is completing another project at the city’s park to continue promote the vitality and the utilization of the amenity. It was back in April when Endow Glidden stepped forward to finance and construct a new four-season shelter house. City Administrator, Brooke Peterson, says while the concrete for the structure was being poured, the idea of a pickleball court came to light.
Peterson says workers were forming up for the new courts last week, with concrete expected to be poured here soon. The City of Glidden is partnering up with Endow Glidden to help cover costs of the construction.
Peterson says a pickleball court will be a great new attraction for residents and visitors of Glidden to enjoy and looks forward to seeing the project come to life.
