A teenager has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly attacking another person with a knife earlier this month. According to the Carroll Police Department, the 17-year-old female was arrested on Friday morning on an outstanding warrant stemming from the June 19 incident at 2:55 a.m. in Graham Park. Authorities say the teen attempted to remove the victim from a vehicle forcefully. When that failed, she pulled a knife and cut the victim’s face, resulting in bodily injury. The minor female was booked into the Carroll County Jail and later transferred into the custody of a juvenile detention center. The charges have been forwarded to the juvenile courts for processing.
